Chapter 16 Questions

    Chapter 16

1. What is Katniss' offensive attack?
     She said she was going to destroy the careers supplies. Which would be an offensive attack because she attacking them instead of waiting for them to attack her.
2. In what ways are the Careers at a disadvantage?
     The careers were always well fed. So they don't know how to feed themselves. If they have no food supply they can starve.Which is why Katniss is going to try to destroy their food supplies.
3. What important information does Rue provide? 
       She tells Katniss that there are supplies near the lake the careers are at. There stacked up in a pyramid surrounded by crates. When the careers leave they leave the boy from district 3 in guard with a spear. BU t he isn't near it much for a reason. hen that there is a good hiding spot near the lake where the careers can't see you.
4. What is Rue's favorite thing? How does this connect to Katniss?
    Her favorite thing is music. Rue likes to sing with the mocking birds in her farm. It connects with Katniss because sang with the same birds with her dad. Then they both know they can mimic notes you sing.
5. Why can't Katniss get to the bounty of supplies? How is she able to destroy it? 
      She can't get Some supplies because they placed mines around it. They were put there by the boy that was guarding it. She destroyed the supplies because she shot some arrows at a sack of apples hanging on the basket. Then when it fell it blew up a mine that triggered the others.
