1. What happens to Katniss in the explosion?
Her right ear gets damaged during the explosion. So she can't here through that one which somehow in a way unbalances her.Because as a hunter she needs her ears as, much as her eyes.
2. Why does Katniss leave the rendezvous point?
She leaves some mint leaves around the campfire so Rue can know that she passed by.
3. What happens to Rue? Rue stars to scream for Katniss. When Katniss finds her she is trapped in a net hanging. And when she's running towards Rue the boy from district one throws at and kills Rue with a spear.
